This service is based on our commitment to providing long-lasting and sustainable pieces.
You can send us your WALD jewelry piece and our mother’s collective will get it fresh and clean again. Only applies to current collections.

WALD Berlin is a women-founded brand, built together with a team where women play a key role across our work and operations.
All packaging, shipping, and returns are handled by Mosaik-Berlin gGmbH — a social enterprise that employs people with disabilities. From packing your order with care to processing returns, each step supports meaningful, inclusive employment.
We also collaborate with independent jewelry producers in Germany who often have limited market access due to the higher cost structures of local production. By working with them, we help strengthen local craftsmanship and keep specialized manufacturing know-how in the region.

WALD Berlin pieces are designed to become your everyday jewelry — the kind you reach for instinctively, day after day, and that quietly elevates whatever you’re doing. Our styles are bold yet wearable, with signature silhouettes and finishes that feel distinctive without feeling “too much” for daily life.
To make these looks possible, we work mainly with gold-plated or silver-plated brass (and, for select pieces, solid silver) — materials that allow for precise shaping and expressive designs that define the WALD Berlin aesthetic. Many styles are completed with natural freshwater pearls, seashell details, and often Swarovski® crystals for a refined sparkle.
Wherever precious metals are used, we rely on recycled gold and silver for plating and selected solid pieces — keeping valuable materials in circulation while staying true to our design language.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Returns
We process orders within 2 business days (Mon–Fri) and ship from Berlin. All orders are sent via DHL insured shipping with tracking. Typical delivery times after dispatch are ~2 business days (Germany), ~3 (Europe) and ~7 (USA & Rest of World).
Shipping rates: DE €5.90 (free over €149), EU €9.90 (free over €175), USA €49.90 (free over €299), Rest of World €24.90 (free over €249).
Changed your mind before shipping? You can cancel until we prepare your shipment (usually the next weekday at 7:30 AM CET) via our returns portal. For EU customers buying for personal use, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal after delivery; return shipping is paid by you.
We offer a 6-month warranty worldwide ( 2 years for EU citizens ) and repairs are possible even after the warranty period for EU customers through our Care Service. Import duties/taxes may apply outside the EU; we only cover them for destinations marked “✅ Covered by WALD” in our shipping policy.

Packaging
At WALD Berlin, packaging is part of the experience — minimal, thoughtful, and made to be reused. Every smaller jewelry item comes in its own reusable cotton bag, and each necklace is secured on a card to keep it neat, tangle-free, and beautifully presented.
All pieces are then placed into a reusable Tyvek Pouch, wrapped in premium tissue paper, and delivered in our branded WALD Berlin box — protective for shipping, refined for gifting, and designed to stay with you long after unboxing.
Care Tips
Care Tips
Cleaning products, cosmetics like hairspray and perfume, even fruit acids and sweat can discolour your jewelry piece. Therefore, we recommend that you don’t wear your pieces while showering, working out, swimming, or visiting a sauna.
Silver and gold jewelry oxidize over time and may slowly start to turn black or grey. Store your pieces in dry, cool spaces, as moisture can accelerate the oxidation process.
For cleaning, the best tool is a specialized silver cleaning cloth. If needed, new gildings can be refreshed by a jeweller.
